I have a 2006 Allure. Among the many issues which have been with me for 4 plus years has been a very annoying rattle near the entry door. I have done so many things to keep this rattle from driving me crazy that I will not waste your time with the telling of this story.
On my last trip my wife asked me to help her finish the wood dusty and waxing. Being the nice guy I am I said "sure". Well I set off to tackle the task and I work my way around to the front panels next to the TV. I open the cabinet door and I hear a rattle. I examine the door and notice that the center piece is not glued to the surrounding frame, thus a rattle. I jumped on this baby like a crazed pig, and jam double back tape in the space between the to pieces. Will guess what? NO rattle coming home, and we hit some mean raw CA. highway.
Now I still have to fix the HWH hose, and the AC is still failed, but I learned something on this trip, you can do pretty will with three slides, and I am never buying another new coach. Oh, there is someone out there driving a fairly new Intregue. When I last saw him he was tipped so far down on the drivers side that it look like the driver was using the window to keep himself in the seat. If you are out their get that coach fixed before you get killed.
