If you are going to the FMCA convention in Oregon, or traveling there and would like to weigh your. I was a resident of Oregon for 30 years, but have been fulltiming for 11 years. If things are still the same, if you come to a weigh station that is closed, they leave the scales on. My method was to put the front wheels on the scales. Look in ahead and to the right and you should see a pole with a reader board on it. Note the weight and then move forward to scale the rear axle [I do not have a tag]. If the area is level, I back up and move over to put only the right front wheel on tht scales, then do the same for the right rear. I then had a ballpark figure for the 4 corner weight. Hope you enjoy your travel in Oregon.

Was at HWH in Moscow. Iowa last week to have the slide front ram arm repaired. Welding was required, ask them if they wanted me to unhook the batteries, they replied that it was not necessary. I had always understood that the batteries should be disconnected. Seems not as everything is still working after 850 miles. Think I will still unhook if I am doing the welding-----too old to change I guess.
