Someone needs to tighten up their spam control. I got the following today:

From   Subject   Received   Size   Categories Mina Alaki   [Country-Coach-Owners] Hot Model Wallpaper 7:44:42 AM/10/2010   Mon 10:29 PM   37 KB

Of course I did not open any of the many links, obviously to sex related sites, but the [Country-Coach-Owners] part of the address leads me to believe it got our CC mailing list from somewhere or someone on here. I doubt it was done deliberately by any CC member.

If I have mis-interpreted this, please correct my thinking.

Yahoo filters some messages as spam (but it usually thinks that some valid message thread is spam because of some valid comment in one of the replies contained in the message).
Every NEW member is moderated, to make sure that are posting valid non-spam messages. As moderator, every message from a new member is moderated (reviewed) before it is posted. After about a week, moderation is turned off for the new user.
In the case of this message, it was posted by a member that joined back in 2003, and has had a few valid posts several years ago. Their userid was immediately banned from the group by me shortly after I saw the message in the Daily Digest, and it was deleted from the Web.
Once a message is posted, as I have said before, it immediately is sent out to those who subscribe to Individual Messages. Unfortunately, it is also queued by Yahoo for the Daily Digest, and is included in it, even though I delete it before it is published.
Thank you for NOT included the content of the message in your reply, as is sometimes done by other members, as it just further propagates the spam.
I would like to remind members to make sure their email accounts DO NOT use trivial passwords -- otherwise their mailboxes might get hijacked for messages like these.
