Question about the RTI Remote?

My remote battery was dead when I purchased the New to me Coach last year, I recently decided to purchase a battery and see if it would work.
It seems to work the DVD and TV, But I cannot get the Amp or Tuner to work, the little eye thing was loose but I put it back and it does blink when some of the button are pressed but does not turn ON or OFF and does not changes at all(on the Amp),it does work the TV OK, I have the T2+ Remote and on screen functions Include Home Theater and DVD, CD etc but I cannot find a volume for the Amp, I have the Yamaha series, it does turn on the DVD but I cannot find a volume control...Anybody know how to work this thing? All help appreciated...

I have a different RTI remote in my 07 Magna so I can not give you any exact help but what I have found is that mine acts up from time to time. I have not been able to control the mute or on/off of the amp this summer, then we left for a week and all is well. I believe that the problem lies not in the remote but in the black box that the remote actually controls.
