Fresh Water Plumbing/Flow Question - Pressure Balancing Valve

Be that as it may, the DW and I have a rule . . . the one not in the shower stays away from the water faucets for the few minutes the other is in the shower. How hard can that be??? Duh.
Haven't had a problem in 10,000 miles, and our fresh water tanks lasts days longer.
