HWH RAISE function - the final answer from CC

Thanks to all who volunteered information, especially Fred Johnson, and many thanks to Jorie and Kirk from the CC service department for providing the final answer to correct this situation.

As stated previously, my HWH RAISE function does not latch - the button must be held in the entire time and as soon as it is released, the coach drops back into travel mode. This is a real problem for me since my RAISE button is on a panel next to the floor. I realized the seriousness of the situation when I had to make a very tricky set of turns in heavy rush hour traffic over some rough terrain and could not see my mirrors or much of the traffic around me because I was holding the raise button in with my chin on the dash board.

SO NOW THE FINAL ANSWER has been provided by Kirk and Jorie from CC service.

The latching function is supposed to work on my coach as it is described in the HWH manual. They sent a 3 page fax that describes in detail exactly how it works. Turns out that this function is already programmed into all HWH500 AP22070 boards. The transmission must be programmed to turn on the appropriate output signal and "set point speed" at which the latching function will automatically stop and the system will return to travel mode. The factory recommends 15 mph, but the manual states 10 mph. In either case, the latching will hold the coach at the level you set it until the stop button is pressed or until the set point speed is reached.

If you want your dealer to have the details for implementing this function on your coach, you can have CC service fax the information to your dealer.
