06 Inspire Front Ride Height Valve

Yahoo Message Number: 64452
I came across some VERY rough roads coming into Bar harbor, Maine, from Canada and now the front end is riding much lower than normal (top of front wheel opening is just about even with the top of the tire). I suspect that I either lost the front ride height valve or the jarring of the road drastically readjusted input to the valve. On my Inspire, there is a steel section attached to torsion bar across the back of the suspension. The steel section is attached to an arm that is attached to the rideheight valve. When the coach is in travel mode, the arm between the valve and the steel section is pointing straight down (don't see how any changes in the coach height can affect the valve). By any chance, does anyone out there with an '06 Inspire 40-footer have a picture of how the steel section and ride height valve look (relationship between the two) in a 'normal' travel mode?

John,

My Inspire is an '05 40' DaVinci and I'll guess that they're the same. I'm going to pick it up later today from our storage facility for a trip tomorrow and will take and send you a picture then if you don't get results beforehand.
I just worked on mine a couple weeks ago...replaced shocks, sway bar bushings and end link grommets and adjusted ride height when all was done. Adjusting ride height is not a difficult job. I'll be back in touch this afternoon.
