Splendid 2000 Washer/Dryer Problem

My washer/dryer works fine during the wash cycle, but when drying, the discharge pump cycles about every 20 or 30 seconds while in the drying cycle. The dryer is working properly, but the pump should not be running.

Anyone have a clue as to what may be the problem?

Is it vented or non vented? The non vented will run the pump all through the drying cycle but not constantly. On-off.
