Side Camera Info

Iam installing a side camera syatem in my older Intrigue 2001 #1314.
Would like to know what the height from the ground the side cameras should be mounted? I have beed told that 3 to 4 feet is ok, but thinking that 3ft would be best to cover the front blind zone. any feed back would be of help.

I put a side-mount camera on my 2000 Intrigue, and decided that it would be easiest if I put it above the floor, as that way running the cable would be easy. So I drilled a hold right above the floor from the inside, then sawed out the opening. If you put it below the floor, it will be more work.
