Almost Too Embarrassed to Ask

I can't find the switch for my emergency flashers. I've looked in the manual and they aren't mentioned. Surely it has them?

If it is like my intrigue it is on the steering column right where your left knee will hit it.

If you've got a SmartWheel it's on the steering wheel shaft housing just below the steering wheel on the underside a little to the left. Push/Pull switch.

You're getting close. The emergency flasher switch on mine just above the adjustment handle - closer to the wheel.

On mine it is just below the movable part of the steering wheel but on the steering column itself. It is at about the 7 o'clock position and is a tab that pulls out to turn on the flashers and pushes in to shut them off. If I put my finger on the turn signal shaft and run it around the steering column toward the back ( the part facing me when I am sitting in the drivers seat) I run right into it.

Of course coaches do vary,

Speaking of the flashers, does anyone else notice that the flashers don't work when the exhaust brake is on? Can this be over ridden or fixed? We live in Colorado and have a lot of hills that require me to use the exhause brake a lot at slow speeds.

The flashers don't work when the exhaust brake is on because the brake lights are on when the exhaust brake is on (the flasher makes the brake lights flash). Since the flashing brake lights are used to warn following drivers that the vehicle is moving at slower than normal speeds and the solid brake lights indicate that the vehicle is slowing down, they all indicate "Caution - I'm not moving at full speed". IMHO no 'fix' is necessary.
