HWH Air Compressor Drain Valve

Yahoo Message Number: 69382
My 2008 CC Inspire coach has an HWH aux 12V compressor and a water removal filter installed in the equipment compartment located in the drivers side forward compartment.
At the base of the filter bowl is a 12v normally open valve to drain the bowl of any water that may have collected. It should close when the compressor is running to allow pressure to build.

This valve should be wired to the compressor side of the relay.
On my coach it was erroneously wired to the hot 12v side of the relay which is wired directly to the coach battery.

This error causes the valve to be on continuously.
Under these conditions the solenoid gets very hot.
Due to over 2 years of being hot it ruined the O ring that seals the fitting at the base of the bowl not allowing it to build pressure.
This problem was noticed because of the heat generated by the solenoid valve.
My coach is probably the only one wired this way but a quick check of the temperature of the solenoid will tell.
Additionally, this coil draws .5 amps which caused my battery switch off parasitic current to go from .55amps to .05amps
