Poor ride quality

Yahoo Message Number: 69471
Just traveled I55 between I10 and I20, what a nightmare, extremely harsh ride. I was totally exhausted upon arriving in Vicksburg. I am wondering if my shocks need looking at or if the road was really that bad. Any thoughts?

Gary If the ride was harsh then , your shocks are working, as designed. When a shock absorber fails the coach will bounce 3 or 4 times ( or more ) , instead of once or twice with a properly working shock. Some shocks have up to 3 setting of harshness, and you should have someone look at yours to see if they are adjustable, and set it to a softer ride. If they are not adjustable and you really don't like the ride , the only choice is to change the shocks. I went to Road Kings and like the ride much better than the original shock.

Could it be what you're driving? (2-ton truck, low rider, bobsled???), since you didn't post the info on your rig. lol Just having fun with ya.
