What 's involved in removing the mattress? Can I go through the door, will I have to remove the passenger chair or do I have to go through the windshield?

Gil, you are better off remving the passenger chair. The platform has 4 nuts that hold it onto the base. Don't forget to disconnect the electrical connection. It is heavy.

I'm betting it'll bend to go out the door, with the slides extended; driver's seat full forward; copilot seat full aft.

If not, cut it into pieces.

It may bend. I was thinking it might be one of those monster mattress that takes 4 football players to remove. I cut a mattress in pieces, once. What a mess.

I would think that if you fold the mattress and secure it with straps, it would go out the front door. Chair is easy to remove, if necessary.

Queen size mattress, extend passenger & drivers front slides and move passenger seat as far as possible toward the back of the coach. Mattress should go out the door easily. May have to bend it a little, but not a lot. Have done this in our Intrigue. Brought the new mattress in the same way.

We replaced the mattress in our Allure (with a similar inner-spring mattress) and it came in through the door. No seat removal, very little swearing...

Mine fit thru the door. Did not have to remove anything.
