Livingroom slide

Hoping someone can help me with this. My passenger side livingroom slide does not stay retracted all the way. It will creap out about 1 to 1 1/2 inches while going down the road. I can press the retract switch and it will come back in, but it will slowly go back out. Any ideas?

Check the hydraulic fluid level for the slide. I believe this should be done while it is retracted. Insufficient fluid can allow the slide to creep out.

Had this issue, finally solved by replacing the O ring on the check valve.

Given the fact that the 05 Inspire has electric powered (PowerGear) slide motors (instead of hydraulic) I'd be interested in the cause of the problem and its solution.
Tom, did you inadvertently bump the motor brake lever in the basement overhead? If the motor brake has been released somehow, I guess the slide would not stay put.

I had the same problem on the driver's side. Someone told me to make sure the small arm on the motor was in the locked position. I moved my arm back and forth and put it in the locked position and it's worked fine.

Tom, Jay has it right. The passenger side slide on my Inspire 'periodically' decides to poke out a little bit (generally only about 0.5-1.0 inch). Whenever it does, I open the bay, flip the brake lever on the motor for that slide a couple of times and then retract the slide. Usually good for several weeks/months) On mine the brake lever is on the back end of the motor and is covered with a black rubber sleeve. It will only flip to the ON or OFF positions. It is rather easy to 'bump' while moving things around in the compartment.
