I want to plan a trip to Glacier National Part and request advice on where to camp. Have 36 ft Intrigue and would like full hookups. We have never been to glacier so would be going blind. I would appreciate any advice you can give me.

Dave, the KOA in St. Marys (east side) is a good option. We spent 4 days there last year.

Hooray for you! It is breathtakingly beautiful and lots of fun too! We stayed on the east side also, checked out the KOA which seemed very nice but stayed at the Johnson RV park. The KOA's sites are a bit larger. Please be sure and give your taste buds a treat and eat at the Johnson family restaurant across the highway from the KOA. Delicious breakfasts!!!

We had been given advice by folks who had been to Glacier before us, and that was to stay on the east side because heading over the Going to the Sun road by 9 or so in the morning, you won't traffic going your way, and then after oohing and aahing your way over to the other side and spending whatever time over on the west side you want, head back to the east about 3:00 in the afternoon, again very little traffic, and more beautiful scenery new as it's from the other view! It worked for us really well.

We can't wait to go back and hope it's this summer.
