AIR CONDITIONHER START CAPACITOR

DO OUR COUNTRY COACH ROOF AIR CONDITIONERS HAVE HARD START CAPACITORS. IF WE DO HOW CAN I TELL IF IT NEEDS

Not sure why you ask this. Normally these are not a preventive maintenance item. They are replaced when broken..

In any case, here are many variations to this circuit.

Start and Run capacitors - separate units.
A Start and a Run capacitor single, combined unit.
A Start capacitor combined with a PTCR (Process Temperature Control Ring) - and may also have a Run capacitor in the circuit.
A Run capacitor may not be in the circuit at all.
You need to specify the brand and model number to get an accurate answer. Alternative is to look around the compressor for any capacitor and get the info stamped on it.

But if it's working, don't fix it.
