Sounds like you could have some mold? Above is one of many strings on 3M Masks, this one from RV.Net. If it is mold, don't know what you can do to get it out... I do find that 3M has a very good tech support. So you also might call and ask for input from them too.
Our 3M mask is on it's last leg. Abused before we bought it, suspect by someone that used a buffer on it. The outside layer is shot. I can get it to look a bit better, buy plastic compound, straight up and down, then adding a paste wax over it. Will look better, but does not last. We'll remove after we take a trip to Alaska, and then detail the coaches areas that need touch up paint, all at the same time. I have not decided what we will do after this, maybe just run the coach with nothing on the front at all...
