Access to Photos and Attachments no longer available

Yahoo Message Number: 71572
New computer with Windows 7 and Firefox 4 and I can no longer access any of the photos or attachments in the links on the left of this page. Old computer with Windows XP has no problem same sign in and password.
Anyone else experiencing this or similar problems?

John, I see you are using a 'comcast' account. I assume you also have a Yahoo account. That needs to be open and running. Also, sometimes, when you arrive at the Group website you have to do a reconnect action. Yahoo makes it look like you have to 'join the group' but not so. It's a PITA and a 'Yahoo Gotcha' I have the same set-up as you and use firefox too, but have to jump the hoops to get at the files.

I stopped using Firefox a few years ago as it was getting problematic. I am having good luck with Google Chrome, it seems to be a lighter program and runs faster.

Lee: I use Foxfire on my laptop. When I signed in today I got a msg. from Firefox to upgrade to 4.0. When I said yes a msg.from Firefox came up and said some of my applications would not work on 4.0 and gave me a chance to be notified when they corrected it and I chose not to upgrade now. Didn't say which apps were affected. Barrie 94 Concept 5111

Barrie, I saw the same, upgraded . . . all is well, and I have a lot of software on my computer.

So I'm not convinced there is a problem.

But . . . to each his own.

I have 4.0 and see everything I have always seen. It is possible you must go into preferences and set it to "automatically" load photos. That is one of the options in the preferences menu.

Update,

First time in almost 3 weeks since new computer and Windows 7 and I now have access to the photo's and attachments. I didn't change anything so we'll see if it continues to work correctly.
