Tow Plate on Element to CRV

We have a 2010 CRV and it tows well. The speedometer does not register ANY mileage but you have to pull a fuse when towing or install a switch. We went with Roadmaster and have not been sorry. Whoever made your base plate can tell you if the old one will work.
