Generator Slide

I have a 2009 CC Allure 470 with the generater slideout in front, I just attempted to open up the slide out to check the oil, etc and I heard the slide unlock and the sllideout moved out about 1-2 inchs and stopped. I tried to open ir several times and the same thing happened everytime.
Does anyone have any ideas?
