Shelves

I would like to add some shelves in some of the side compartments but I want to make sure I do not hit an wiring. Has someone added shelves and would tell me what they used. Also is there any wiring between the compartments that I have to be careful of?

Thank you,

Are you speaking about the living area or the storage bays underneath. We have done both. The fixed

shelves underneath in the bays are about 6 inches shallower than the total depth to the twin Beam box

containing hoses, wires etc, The shelf is flush on the bottom with the beam box and are attached to the

side walls using stud finders to mark where the cross members were located for best support. Inside

under the kitchen counters we took out the few shelves and had Davis cabinets install pull out drawers.
We no longer have o get on our hands and knees with a flashlight to take advantage of all the space.

Pantry shelves weren't adjustable in our coach design, but we had the factory make them adjustable

during production. We left out the washer dryer and had provisions for adjustable shelves. We added

shelves in the lenin closet which also serves as an addition to the pantry.
Pull out drawers that were

only 14 or 16" deep were changed to full length, 28 " in most cases.
Inspections were made and wiring

located in corners of a few spaces were noted and shelves and drawers executed to avoid such with

ample clearance.

I was talking about the bays. I have a stud finder so I can do that.
Thank you,
