I went out to drive my 2008 inspire and the tag axle would not raise. The light on the switch was on as well as the light on the dash. there is no air sound and the axle is down.

Has no one ever had a problem with their tag. Comments and suggestions welcome.

Hi Sam. Yes, some folks have had problems, don't know why they are silent.
I suggest you call HWH (assuming you have an HWH set-up). They have first rate customer service and should be helpful.

Hi Sam,

I had some of the same symptoms with my tag, only it wouldn't fully lower. Everything looked and acted normal only the tag (passenger side only) didn't quite hit the pavement.
After some climbing around underneath the coach,(me and my mechanic) I found a crummy connection. It was loose and dirty to boot.
Cleaned it up, (and all the others I could get to) and stuck it back together properly, and problem solved.
So, about all I can reccommend, is checking all the connections associated with the tag system.
Not much help I know, but it was a tag problem.
Luck,
Bob

Hi Bob,

Were you talking about cleaning the air connections or the electrical solenoid ones? Our tag goes up slower than it used to and the driver side is worse. Thought we may try your idea :-)

Thanks,
Marta

PS sorry Sam, no advice on your situation.

Marta,

The electrical connections. The bad one I found was noticeably separated from its mate. Still making a little contact I guess, just not enough to work properly.
Luck,
Bob
