Purchase of filters and the changing of the hydraulic fluid and filt

Yahoo Message Number: 72652
Good morning everyone!

Can use all of your experience in the following:
Would like to purchase the following filters as reasonable as possible and where can I get them either through the internet or in Southern California via walk-in.

Fleetguard....FS1003
Fleetguard....FF5488
Fleetguard....LF9009

Would also like to get a new air filter but don't know the stock number its that "Big Boy" maybe 24 inches long and maybe a foot wide

Trying to avoid the shops massive mark-up
Second part of the inquiry.........I have 36,000 miles on my 2004 Allure and as far as I know hasn't had the second scheduled hydraulic fluid replaced yet. All is working fine so far.
I am making plans on having Colton Truck do the change can anyone tell me just what I am headed for. Any guesses on the cost?? Does anyone know the fleetguard number for the Hydraulic filter for the ISL 400. Any suggestions on where I can get the Dexron III 35 quarts for a reasonable price in Southern California

Any kind of opinions will be greatly appreciated

Thanks so very much!

My choice has always been The Filter Barn. Google them.

Scott,

I believe the Fleetguard number for the hydraulic filters is HF8140. It takes three and you usually get 6 when you order them. You can get 6 at a time for less than $100.

Scott,

Just read the remainder of your post. I believe the hydraulic reservoir only holds 16 qts. The rest of the fluid is in the lines, cooler and pump and cannot be easily removed.

Cummins sells the nelson hydraulic filter at about $8 each. I had my coach serviced by Colton Truck a couple of years back. Recently, I replaced my air filter and went back and look at my service order from Colton and was surprised at the reasonable cost of the air filter which was comparable to the on line sources. I don't like California shop rates but Colton Truck has a good service shop.
