Yahoo Message Number: 73001
Fellow Owners hoping your having a great summer. Thanks for some of you sending hints on our Inverter Loosing the Freedom Panel to operate the Inverter. I called Xrantrex Factory Tech support, The Fellow said after me tilling him the Issues of the Panel not operating the Inverter he said looks like the Comm. PC Board not talking to the Inverter. The Inverter is dated june of 06. The Prev. owner of the coach replaced it in 07 along with a new transfer sw. records showed on the Coach Paperwork in the Coach binder. The tech said ware are Ya? I said Daytona Beach Florida for another month. He said one of the best repair techs they trained works for Southeastern Power in Orlando. He gave me their phone number. I calld them and a fellow named Buck spoke to me and said they do repair this Inverter. I Working for Cat in Tampa a few years ago was familiar with their Tampa Store off Adamo Drive. They do custom diesel work and I use run Stanadyne Fuel Inj. pumps to them in my other life. Anyway Buck said Bring it in so the next Day went over with the Inverter and Panels, One was orig. and other I bought thinking the Panel was bad. Less then a week he called and said yes it too was a Comm, PC Board. He tested the two freedom panels also and the Bill was less encluding tax of 350.00 dollars. Being once in the service Biz. I felt like I was treated Fairly. Returnd to the rig and here a week later all is well. They repair Leese Niville Battery Charging Alternator's some of have in our older rigs along with some other brands of Inverters. I know their shop again repairing fuel Inj. pumps. Google them and visit their website as they have several stores in Florida. Working at Cat they always repaird things we at the time wernt set up to do. I believe they have a booth at the Tampa RV Super show. I recommend them highly, Im of coarse not a paid spokesman for them. I told buck I will live with this repair and if it Fails again will go to a pure Sine Wave Type Inverter. BTW On our Coach the Inverter has two 20 Amp breakers. One for the House General use and another for the Convection Micro Wave oven. CC Was good on allowing extra wiring so the Inverter could be loosend and turned around for acess of removel of DC Battery cables and A/C Wiring. Although Our coach is Basic I like the wiring and Quality CC Did back then. I use to do power systems on Mega Yachts back in the 90's and were talking millions of dollars and the CC Wiring is up there! Sorry post is so long but Its there for Deliting! Great Summer Friend's!
