Refilling prescriptions in New York

I would like to give all of you who travel a heads up on New York State refilling of prescriptions.Under New York law they will cancel all remaining refills on you prescriptions. We are trying to figure out how to get a refill done on my wife's blood pressure medicine.
Be sure you are aware of the New York regulations on refilling medicines.

Two approaches:

1 Mail order from out of state (ie your home or google low price source) 2 drive to a neighboring state (NJ or Connecticut) to fill the prescription.
