Shore plug in will not activate coach,Gen start then turn off./

WALL PLUG BREAKER HAD TRIPPED ------- I TURNED BACK ON NOW PLUGS WORK BUT THE REMAINING ISSUES SAME SHORE LINE DOES NOT ACTIVATE IN COACH AND GENERATOR WILL TURN OFF AFTER 1 OR 2 MINUTES

sounds like you need to reset your inverter to do a hard reset you have to be unplugged gen off battery disconnect then unhook neg. battery on house battery for a few minutes then reconnect turn on battery disconnect plug in shore line and see if all is well

Your transfer switch contacts may be stuck. I hear the solution is a whack on the casing with a soft mallet or big screwdriver head.

I agree with Lee's diagnosis...

But... the "whack" on the casing will be a temporary "fix"... Short of buying a new transfer switch, the best fix is:

1.) Dis-connect shore power

2.) remove the transfer switch cover
3.) "burnish" the contacts... DO NOT USE A FILE ON THE CONTACTS!!! Use a "burnishing" tool... You can get one at Lowes, Home Depot, Grainger's, or most any electrical supply...

4.) After you burnish the contacts, blow all of the "crud" out of the transfer switch with the engine air compressor before you replace the cover...

One other possibility... The "coil" in the transfer switch may have "opened"... check it for continuity with an ohm-meter... If it is open, you can replace only the coil... You don't have to replace the whole transfer switch...
