Service At Country Coach Corp

We have had our 2002 Affinity in the CCC service facility in Junction City OR the last 3 days. We are more than happy with the way we were treated, our coach was serviced, and the cost was less than we expected. We saved a few nagging issues and questions that no one seemed to be able to answer for us for the last 20 months we have owned our coach. Inverter issues, Silverleaf problems, tire pressure and what is it really supposed to be, does our coach drive like it is supposed to, why does our fan stir up a dust storm, and so on.
I know this is a fairly new operation, but they already have skilled people who know what they are doing. There were a number of other coaches in there getting work done too.
We also were told plans / hopes by their sales manager to get orders for and make 25 new coaches next year. In addition Ron Lee took the time to talk a bit about his company. They also have unbeatable deals on Country Coach branded shirts, hats, aprons, water bottles, sweatshirts, and a bunch of other things. My advice is to stock up now on the branded stuff as they bought a bunch at at low prices from previous owners and when that is gone I expect prices will go back to normal. I am currently wearing a very nice CCC T shirt I paid ten bucks for. And we got a bunch of other CCC items too.
There has been talk back and forth about CCC or OMC and we picked CCC because we had never been to the factory before. We have had a very good, actually excellent experience. Will all the plans to build new coaches work out, who knows. I hope so. Ron is talking about hybrid drive the second year of manufacture, which sounds like the best idea I have heard for a large motor home to get the miles per gallon up.

Anyone with specific questions about our experience can pm me.

I too had a wonderful experience earlier this year with the service and repairs at the Country Coach facility in Junction City. Many questions about various systems and functions on my 1997 Magna were answered, repairs were made quickly and efficiently and the cost was less than expected. Each night the coach was brought out to the parking lot, hooked-up to shore power, leveled and a mat put at the front door. Ron Lee's business card with his cell phone number was also left on the coach's kitchen counter in case of any emergency. Best of all the repairs to the coach were made correctly the first time.
They are a great group of very competent folks and I applaud their efforts and wish them only the best.

It is great that you people(toddsoverton and graphicartsequipment)are reporting excellent service. These reports would mean a great deal more if either of you would identify your self by name and your coach by number.

My name is Todd Overton (email toddsoverton@...) and my coach is a 1997 36' Magna Tribute #5388 and is located in Thousand Oaks, CA. The service advisor I dealt with was Jim Cooley. Jim not only dropped me off at the local rental car facility on his way home for a rental car for the weekend to do some wine tasting but the following week offered his own car for me to run some errands. Eric Wolfe, the chassis guru there was tremendously helpful and competent as well and his wife has a wonderful small gourmet deli in town (walking distance from CC).
My punch list of repairs/maintenance was extensive and my questions many. Repairs included everything from a new snap-in hamper bag in the bathroom, laser alignment, ride height adjustment, generator pulled, serviced and new main seal installed, new front door hinge and bulb moulding installed, new furnace probes installed, various indicator lights repaired, new outside porch light installed, rear center brake light repaired, over the road a/cs serviced with new dryer, expansion valve and recharged . . . and much more. Finding a shop that could cover ALL of the necessary items was wonderful. A true 1-stop shop.
If you have any questions, etc. I'd be happy to pass on anything additional to you or anyone else. No, I'm not associated with CC in any way but I greatly admire their entrepreneurial spirit and had a wonderful experience while supporting their efforts. In this day and age when a US company is trying to get back on solid footing by offering quality service and hiring local folks in a small town hard hit with massive layoffs to perform that service, I'll make the drive and will give them my business any day. Kudos to all in Junction City.
Cheers,
Todd

I'd like to add another thumbs up for Country Coach Corp and Jim Cooley. I'm new to the Country Coach family and have lots of questions about my recent purchase. Jim has been great, very responsive and I'm amazed that they had the Crestron programming files that I needed given all that Country Coach has been through these past few years. My experience was not in person, but rather via the phone.
