Cruise-less Control

Yahoo Message Number: 73852
Anybody care to advise: My cruise control stopped working. The indicator on my SilverLeaf comes on when it should but when I press the SET button nothing happens. Also, the high idle fails to engage. It's almost as if the brake pedal is pressed. I cannot find anything that says there is a fuse involved.

Dick,

My 2007 Allure had the same problem when I bought the coach. I was able to set the cruise by pressing the accelerate button and holding the button until it reached the appropriate speed. Otherwise if I hit the set button it would feel like a break was activated. My problem was related to my computer settings for my Allison and Cummins. The cummins/allison tech found there was an improper cruise setting. The setting was set at off for cruise and the unit would not operate properly. My silverleaf said it was set properly and knew how fast I was attempting to set the control at.
My coach has the allison 3000 and the Cummins ISL. FYI I had taken the shop to four different vendors and none of them were able to fix the problem. My source for repair was Cummins West in San Leandro CA.

Good luck and hope that helps.
