I have tire safe guard, very seldom do they all work at the same time. I had hoped they would be at Madison, no luck. I thought they went out of business. I have them on the car also. What ever you buy when you have the tires mounted have the outside tire valve stems turned to the outside. I will next time. You won't need the U shaped valve stem adapters.

Good luck Bob '02 Magna6028

I just Bought Tire Minder Sensors for the Rig and Toad at Camping World. If I had to do it again I would of bought Pressure Pro. The selling point was you can change out the Batterys in the sensors. On our Allure with steel rims they get hot after driving on I-10 on 100 degree days the steel rims get up to 140 degrees, you stop in a Truch Stop for fuel and the Rear inner duels go to alarm on temp or sudden air pressure air loss. Getting back on the road the rims cool off and alarms go away. I run 115 psi cold, Since I bought them last April I cannot return them. I have Friends in S.O.B's that have pressue pro system and no issues! I know Pressure Pro have been out there a while and I have friends that sell them. The Tire Minder sensors read tire stem temp's which are Brass and I use an Infered heat gun and the sensor temp is the same. The toad is fine as the stems are Rubber. I plan on calling Tire Minder when I get to Yuma. Run this issue by them. Again when the coach sits all is well. Have not driven in Colder Climes yet. I like it as its easy to program but I will repost on new findings. Ken 99 Allure 30356

Lee,

I have the pressurepro with the stems turned out. Have to be very careful when changing rear dual tires because the stem can get moved while pulling off the tires. Other than that it is very easy to unscrew the sensors off the stems and put in a small plastic sort bin so that you can put them back on the same tires later. I pull mine off when I am not in the coach so they do not wear down the batteries in them.
Unlike the smart tires system (mine smart tire one is actually still functioning along side the pressure pro system)the pressure pro sensore are activated by pressure and send a signal about every 3 to 5 minutes unless there is a sudden change in pressure. They will last a lot longer if you don't have then on the stems when not in use. They cost about $50 each and to get replaced they can be bought for around $35 each on trade-in. I also have the silver leaf system that apickups the signal from the sensors and puts it up my computer screen in addition to the read out gauge and repeater that comes with the system.
