Body Shop In Los Angels Area

I am looking recommendations for a body shop in the Los Angeles Area. I have cracks on both ends of the lower drivers bedroom slide opening. One has cracked the fiberglass completely to the radiator area. I need to get an estimate to get this fixed.

You might also want to know WHY the cracks developed and correct the cause.

Try the Paint Department in Chino, CA. they repaired a crack on MH.

Yes that was going to be my first question. I was considering driving to Oregon and trying to find a body shop that works on CC as you would think these cracks are on the first ones on a Allure.

Again, RV Paint Pros in Pomona. They work on all coaches including Prevost's. They have worked on mine (Inspire). Have been to Paint Dept twice - never again.

If you do go to Oregon, try the Enduro guys at Premier; they found several "issues" when I took it in there for a touch up. They both have over 20 years on Country Coaches

I would give Bob Vincent a call at Oregon Motorcoach Center (800-942-6860). We have had the same issue with our 2003 Allure, Newport. In fact they are working on ours at this time. They understand the problem and know how to fix it so it stays fixed. It is expensive, but if not done correctly it will re-crack.

Our water pump failed. One minute it was working OK, the next minute, nothing! It almost seems like a fuse has blown but I cannot find an inline fuse near the pump in the wet bay. Any ideas where a fuse may be hiding?

2006 Allure 470.

The Water Pump fuse will be located in your Domestic 12v fuse panel/box.

If your '06/470 is like my '06/430 the pump is controlled by the Intellitec System. In the P/S, BR cupboard there should be 3 switches, BR lights, LR lights & Pump, on the panel. Change the position of the pump switch, turn on the water to see if the pump runs. If it does take the panel off and hunt for the 10 Amp pump fuse and change it out. Replace panel and and return the pump switch to it's original position. If the pump doesn't run, I would suspect the pump.

Hi Kevin, Thanks for your response. Sorry for delay in reply, I have been sans Internet for several days. I checked the fuse box (the black one located in the bathroom area) and nothing is labelled 'water pump'? As far as I can tell, everything else electrical in the coach is running OK.
I had to leave for California before I could continue my trouble shooting and will not be back until late next week. I think my next move is to determine if the pressure switch is OK.

Dave Have you actually checked if you have 12 volts at the pump ? You don't mention that. If no voltage , and the pump is "On ", then a fuse , or broken wire would likely be the problem. If it is a bad ground , I would expect , the failure , to have been intermittent. If it's the pressure switch , at the pump, then you would have 12 volts at the pump , but not to the motor .

Hi John, Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier. I have been in California for several days (the coach is in Oregon) so my work to find the problem with the pump has been interrupted. Before leaving for CA. I did check the pump switch as you suggested but could not get the pump to work. I didn't have time to check for current at the pump. This will be a priority when I return to Oregon a my wife will not travel without water!

Thanks for the follow up, I will respond again as soon as I get back to my trouble shooting in Oregon.
