20 Amp extension Cord

Russ, with a 100 ft distance, I'd suggest a large Gage cord (for 20 amp use) to minimize the voltage drop.
But if you are only operating the battery charge, a 14 Gage wires would suffice..
We can use our 10 Gage extension cord @ 100 ft & 60 ft of 50 amp cords and can run every appliance (including electric Water heater) except the cloth dryer.
If necessary. Of course not All at once. Only need to amp count to not trip breaker. The Mrs. ran cloth dryer once & fried the 15 amp adapter & she wonder why ! ! Next Big "Amp Hog" in Coach is Hair Dryer ! ! ! LeeC. x '01 Intrigue x #11219

In addition to the 100' extension cord you may very well have a relatively long distance (50' or more and # 12 wire) from the recpt you plug into and the panel.
For 15 to 20 amp load, play it safe and go with a #10 cord. I would never use a #14 cord. #12 may be fine is load stays Bottom line, unattended coach, you want reliability. If you want to use a smaller cord, at least take a voltage reading at the charger while it is under load. Dave aka Billy Byte (trusty hound)
