Replacement Lights

The original lights on my 98 affinity were Ford F150 pickup lights (part # is on the light). I googled the # and bingo. I then searched for a newer looking replacement. The lights I now have are great, single curved light that looks like halogen. Headlights $300/set, (I think you can get them for $150-200). Turn signal lights $39.00/set. They look great.

Don't keep us on suspense, tell us where you got the new lights.

The headlights are 1989-1991 ford full size broncoi or full size p/u that fit a 1998-2001 Country Coach. I just finished replacing halogen lamps with dual beam xenon HID in those ford nacelles. I will be trying them out this weekend to see if they help with the long Alaska nites. I have polished my lens but not replaced them yet. The ones I have found on E bay seem to be made in China, and I don't know of a quality replacement. The HID's are supposed to use projector style headlights but I can't find where any are sold that will fit. The HID's used with the original headlights are my final attempt to be able to see the moose on the road soon enough to stop. David White 99Allure #30349

David,
You might want to check out my driving lamp upgrade in the photo section titled "2000 Allure Fog Lights". Way better than the stock headlights for long distance illumination.

Dave, I am interested in your Fog Light modification. Did you have to enlarge the hole? What was the bracket for? Do you have a part number for the new lights? Your lights are very nice, would like to do the same. I dread driving at night especially across Texas, dead deer everywhere.

The only mechanical changes required were the bracket. The new lights mounted from the back and the old from the top as I recall, thus the angle iron bracket. I think the lights were PIAA brand, but if you check the messages around the date of the photos, I think I posted the model number and other info then.
