help with parts for 2004 Allure

Folks, I have 2 problems I need assistance with:
1. Recently, while driving down freeway, my Bose speaker above driver's seat broke loose resulting in speaker dropping down on my shoulder, then onto gear shifter panel on left side of driver's seat. A couple of weeks later, the passenger side speaker also broke under similar conditions but was retained by the electrical wires. Examination shows the speaker mounts are screwed onto the sidewalls. Mounts have a shaft and ball at the end and the speaker has a clamp that the ball fits into and is tightened with a screw. On both of mine, the semi-circle clamp broke. I don't know if it was metal fatigue or what; it looks like cheap pot metal that looks brittle. Question, does anyone know where I can get just the new clamps for the back of the speaker rather than having to buy all new brackets, mounts, etc.?
2. Second question deals with closet mirrors in bedroom. My handles are held onto the mirror with a plastic mirror with 2 holes for the handle. This is attached to the mirror with a glue. One of my handles has broken off and the other shows starburst cracks in the plastic around the handle screws and is also ready to break. I would like to replace both handles. Anyone know where you can get the plastic glue-on parts for the handle or is there another way to attach the handle to the mirror with better quality parts?

On the handles for the mirror doors- if you don't have to match some existing- most large glass retailers like Binswinger have a selection to pick from and the glue to attached. or go on line and search for glass door handles

Kind of hurts when those speakers land on you, ask me how I know:)!
I bought new mounts at the Bose store. I added redundant/back-up black strips of Gorilla Tape where the bracket and speaker mount. I used tape around the grip part, and then also from the arm to the back of the speaker, crossing the parts on the speaker, to add more tape bite. The black tape does not show until you get close. I hope this helps support the critical attachment point between the speaker and the bracket attach, from the vibration front. If the pot metal does fatigue again and break, I'm hoping the tape will allow me a safety save of a shoulder bang!

I check these mounts and attachment points before each trip.
Long range, I'm dumping the Bose 3-2-1 and going to either a Arcam Solo 2.1 or the Meridian G95. When we redo the cabinets on the front TV, we will have Kenleigh Speakers installed to replace the Bose.

Robert and Smitty, thanks for the help. The Bose speaker is not one of the many items I check when I get into the driver's seat. Good to hear I'm not the only one. I'll go looking for some mirror hardware that will do the trick. Thx
