Headlight Covers

i have a 98 Intrigue and am looking for a headlight cover replacement. i really dont want to buy an entire set of headlights, when only the cover needs replacing. i've tried using the cleaners but am not getting the desired results. seen some other posts about using tranny fluid but am yet to try. so if anyone knows how to get some headlight covers then plz reply. thanks

Andrew,

You might try the product from rain-ex for finishing the headlight or look on EBay. There are headlights for newer Intrigue and Inspire models and you could contact the vendor to see if they have your headlight but just t have it listed.

I just did mine, rubbing compound /polishing compound /and elbow grease with a good polish to finish. they came out like new.

We just did ours in October. We taped them with masking tape to prevent any unwanted spots being sanded. We used a DA sander first with 600 grit then 1000 grit then 1500 grit and finally polished them with 3000. Then we sprayed them with Dupont acrylic clear coat. Our lights had never been good. I really thought they just weren't good headlights but now we can see the road! Most amazing thing we have done to the coach.
