Additional tansmission cooling

Been reading the radiator issue / replacement posting with interest
Having not long ago replaced the rad in our coach (2005) - use the opportunity to inspect all the transmission / cooling / hydraulic pipes you can reach - we found a couple in the process of rubbing through due to inadequate fixing

I am currently exploring having made / installing additional transmission fluid cooling to supplement that presently only within the radiator core
There is a small space below the hydraulic fluid cooler / rad - which whilst not benefiting from being within the fan area could be used to mount an additional cooler to expose the fluid returning to the transmission from the radiator to greater airflow
Has anybody else explored /attempted / achieved anything similar - anyone got any thoughts?
