Quartzite and LED bulbs

Yahoo Message Number: 77120
In my continuing quest for LED bulbs to replace the puck lightbulbs, I recently visited the Quartzite RV show (swapmeet on steroids). I spoke extensively with Kelly, the owner of rvLEDbulb.com about finding an LED bulb to replace the puck lightbulb in my coach with a proper color spectrum that wasn't too "white LED" variety. All previous bulbs I found too harsh and bright. I tried one through him and found it to be exceptional. G4,RV2-H. I will be meeting with him in Mesa (where his company is next week or so). I negotiated a price of $6.00 per bulb since I will be ordering about 60. He said he would "work with me" when we meet in person. He also has some diffuser for the lights which don't have lenses and may need some diffusing. If anyone is interested, I would be willing to negotiate a "group rate" and either order all of them and then send out Express mail (pretty cheap postage) or possibly just negotiate a price and you can order direct. If you are interested, please send me an email (off forum) and I will tally up the total bulbs that I could price negotiate.
These bulbs are 100% AMERICAN made and have a Lifetime guarantee. Very pleasing warm yellowish tint, just not quite as "warm pink" we are used to.

Roger and others interested in G4 replacement LED bulbs. I called the rvledbulbs.com in Mesa and the girl on the phone was not very knowledgeable. After going back and forth I found that you need 7 Lumens for each watt of halogen draw. A 20 watt halogen replacement needs to put out 140 Lumens to match the lighting output. I was unable to get the "K " rating of the bulbs- which gives the color nearest to the halogen color. The cheapest bulbs are NOT dim-able. She claimed that they do not have a price as low as 6$ for an LED G4 replacement--but that wouldn't surprise me as she did not answer 1 question on her own and a tech never seemed to be available. I have 43 Puck light replacements required, but about 1/2 are dimming type, and the lady says that the dimmable led's are about 14$ each. Roger , if you hear more let us know. I am betting that the 6$ price is for a 10 watt at about 60 to 70 lumens and that may nor be enough light, without actually trying the bulbs. We winter near Apache Junction, and if you can give me the name I can meet the fellow with you , the week after the Super Bowl

I will ask all of these questions and others I have received from other members whenI talk with the owner; I am not surprised that she didn't know anything about the $6 price as I negotiated that directly with the owner and it is NOT an advertised price. I will report back to the group as soon as we have our meeting. I have been waiting until I hear from the group the approximate number of lights we are talking about. I know from the sample that it is brighter and has more light per unit than the 10 watt bulbs I currently have in the coach.

I have sampled several led bulbs in the past month or so and have found out that the bulbs advertised as equivalent to a 10 watt Halogen do not produce the same amount of light at least when the K rating is around 3500 which is what they generally call natural or warm light. I tried a 15 watt Halogen equivalent in 3500 K and it was slightly brighter and a little more white that the original. I also tried a 25 watt equivalent and it was much brighter but also much more expensive. I am not at my coach but I believe the bulbs were about $12 and $17 with free shipping and they are dimmable.
I believe the company is LEDLight.com.
