Door side slide in bedroom

Yahoo Message Number: 77139
My slide moved out all the way without a signal at night. Will not come back in with signal. Any ideas?

If you have hydraulic slides, find the 'In' and 'Out' solenoids for that slide, then reverse the the wires to those solenoids. If it is a bad solenoid or bad wiring to the 'In' solenoid, pressing the 'Out' slide switch should then bring the slide in. Sounds a little confusing but all it's doing is bypassing the non-functioning solenoid and using the good one. It may not be a solenoid or wiring issue at all. 'Could be the 'In-Out' switch. Can you hear it trying to come in when you hit the 'In' switch?
Other things could be an issue, but this is a fairly simple quick fix to try, just to get it closed.

Hope that helps.

My passenger side rear did that and it was a broken hose because the hose and synchronizer are too close to the turbos on my C13 525 HP Cat engine and became brittle and broke at about 25K miles. I used a winch strap from Home depot after loosening the screw on the solenoid a couple of turns to get the slide in(There is a hook behind the drawer next to the cabinet with the safe and an eye on the frame under the bed to connect the strap to if your coach doesn't have a strap built in). I then drove a ways to Premier RV in Junction City Oregon and had them change all the hoses and move the Synchronizer to in front of the tag axle away from the turbos.

Hope this isn't the case for you because it wasn't quick and easy.

Frank,

Did you ever determine what the problem was and also the solution?

Thanks
