I have need for 110 plug on the outside of my 2005 Inspire. Has anyone had one installed in one of the storage bays ? Where did you tap into ?

Stan you might find an outlet on the curb side in one of the front bays on a side wall.

I do know if your coach is the same as mine, but there is an AC/TV RF outlet in the roof of the storage compartment near the compartment door on the curbside.

Stan - I installed outlets in the small bay one either side. I ran the wiring between the frame rails then back into the plumbing bay. From there I ran them up through my floor pantry closet and on into the fuse box. I simply paralleled the D/S and P/S utility outlet circuits correspondingly at those breakers. Since I bypassed the normal GFI protection, I used two new GFI outlets (located in top of bay) for my extra service. The outlets come in handy when running power tools, lights, etc.
On my bus there is an outlet in the large bay passenger side mounted on the top (which I discovered after my project). Not sure how the Inspire is setup. Running the wires (as usual) is the biggest pain in the butt. Extra outlets are nice to have, however.

Stan,

If you have the 40' Da Vinci you should have on in the ceiling of the 2nd storage bin just inside the door drivers side. You have to look up just inside the door to see it. I did not see mine for a long time. I would think it would be the same on the 40' Geona. I don't know on the 36' models. As you can see our Inspires were not built to far apart.

Stan,

My Inspire has an outlet on the ceiling of the passenger side bay (2nd one I believe).

Stan,

I have the 05 Inspire Siena 36' #51264.
I recently installed a 110 outlet in my chassis battery bay. I installed a stand alone battery charger when my echo charge stopped charging my chassis battery.
I tapped from the 110 circuit under the refrigerator. I ran the wire under the shower, plenty of space, under the bedroom sink and into the raised box along the passenger side bedroom window. From there I was able to drop it directly into my battery bay.
Not a bad job. Don't forget to put a metal junction box at tap under frig and use an insulating grommet in bay where you drill through metal.
Good Luck,
RJ
