Ford 2012 Fusion and Escape no Longer towable

Current issue of FMCA magazine states that Ford has an amendment to the 2012 manuals for subject vehicles which states they are not towable if they have front wheel drive. Sounds like a potential class action suit for owners who bought a towable vehicle which is now not towable except when using a tow dolly.
