99 Intrigue won't start.

Yahoo Message Number: 80896
I have a 99 Intrigue that wont start. I have lights and gauges. When I turn the ignition switch on the dash lights come on. When I turn to start I get nothing. The schematics don't seem to help. Any Ideas????

Thanks in advance

Don, it is likely the Solenoid that is located at the underside of your coach at very rear passenger side. It is probably a White-Rodgers brand.
It is connected to your Starter Solenoid, Chassis Battery & Ignition Solenoid.
The fact you Dash Lights come on tells us its not the Ignition Solenoid.
Crawl under coach and locate this Solenoid Tap on it Lightly then try starting coach. Try this more than once. If coach starts still purchase a new Solenoid as it will finally fail. It costs about $20.00 and is easy to wire back in.

I had a similar problem last week.
Turned out to be a rodent chewed the wire from the battery to the tcm.
Does your shift pad light up the N.
If not the Allison lock out is preventing you from cranking.

Hi All

Those needing the part number for the solenoid. I have used Napa ST80SB. Heavy Duty 5T80. Use the Heavy duty if available.

Hope this helps.

Kelly & June,

The Ignition Solenoid in the Run Bay underneath your drivers seat is a White-Rogers #70-111224, if you dash lights come on when you turn the key, this Solenoid is A-OK. This solenoid is available also at gsistore.com about $25.00
The Pre-Start Solenoid located at very rear of coach (passenger side) that you probably tapped on is also a White-Rogers #120-107112 I purchased this one via website gsistore.com $18.85.
