I have a pioneer stereo system with built in navigation. Does anyone know where CC mounted the brain of the system? I need to upgrade my software but can find the main unit.

It should be located inside the dash behind the instrument panel.

I don't know if CC made any significant changes between 2007 and 2008 but most of these items are mounted beneath the dash. The top dash cover is pretty easily removed on our 2007 by sliding it back from the dash toward the windshield. This exposes all items mounted there.
If not located there then it may be beneath the front cap or behind the overhead cabinetry. We mounted our Garmin 53 above because we wanted the video output to feed both the front flat screen and the dash monitor. If your is behind the dash it is a simple and quick process.

Shawn, my units are mounted right in the center of the dash behind the instruments.

I will look behind the cabinetry. I looked behind the dash and did not see it there. I appreciate everyone's help. This is a great forum.....
