1997 cc Integrity 36 ft 325hp

We have always had gas rigs. We are now ready to make the change to deisel. To a 1997 Country Coach Intrigue a good choice? It's in great shap like new inside. 55,000 miles, new tires, all new batteries, new gen. $30,000.
Good or bad idea?

I believe from having learned so much from the great folks on this blog who know a lot that this is probably a wonderful coach to buy. Others will tell you specific things to look for, and I wish you a great time with this coach!

That is a lot of coach for the buck. Just be prepared to fix and update as necessary. The good news, for what you are investing, it will leave room for maintenance items. We purchased a 97 magna that had been setting unused and needed much TLC. Able to do most of it myself. We really enjoy our coach. Not sorry for the purchase. This forum will be lots of help. Make sure you have the factory manuals with the coach when you purchase. They are Worth there weight in gold when it comes to understand your coach and troubleshooting. Our Magna is our first diesel as well. Love the power.

Sounds like a really good deal. We are the 4th owners of a '95 36 ft Intrigue with over 110000 miles. One thing you need are the maintenance records and factory supplied books. The first will help you determine if required maintenance has been performed and the "sensitive" areas of this particular coach. The second will include factory recommendations and diagrams that will help you solve the many issues that will happen. RUSS WARREN COACH 10070

Our first motor home of any kind is a 36 FT 97 Intrigue purchased in 2008 with 48,000 miles. We have no maintenance records or owner history other than a car fax. We went through it assuming nothing had been done and now keep to a regular maintenace schedule. It has been a great coach. We love the ride and build quality of the unit. Country Coach Destinations magazine had a four part series on maintaining older coaches and it has proven helpful along with the CC Owners Yahoo group.

I would highly reccommend any clean 97 Intrigue as a good choice.
