NorCold refigerator.

Yahoo Message Number: 82324
I bought a 2005 Country Coach Inspire 360 with a Norcold two door refrigerator with water in the door. I have had a problem with the refigerator not starting after the motorcoach has been washed. Once in a truck wash and once with a highpressure wand. Norcold says to check for smell and and a yellowish powder. If that seems OK to reset safety switch with a magnet, or get a new safety switch.
My question is could it be the vent for the propane vent taking on water during the wash cycle.

Harold,

I had the same problem, with the refrigerator on my Inspire. In my case, I found that just a little moisture getting thru the outside vent for the refrigerator will cause the 5 amp 250 volt glass fuse to blow.
That fuse is on the outside control panel, held in place my 3 screws.
A very hard rain is no problem, however a high pressure water wand pointed up at the vent will cause problems.
