Looking to replace Fan Vents in 97 Intrigue

Yahoo Message Number: 83273
I was wondering how difficult it was to replace the Fan Vents and if anyone has a recommended replacement part number. My fan vents have become very brittle and are cracking.

Thanks,

Hi Don, If your vents are Fan-Tastic Vent brand like ours, they have a lifetime warranty on all parts including the covers. We had the galley and bathroom vent covers both changed after receiving replacements from them. Easy job....hope this helps Skip...2002 Intrigue #11329

Thanks,

I called them today, they are in fact Fan-Tastic Vents. They informed me that the model I have is no longer made and asked if I would like replacement models shipped. They are replacing both vents for just shipping of 20.00. Wow, not sure how they are making money but I wanted to make sure to give them 100 percent for customer service.

Greetings,

I too, must chime in here with a good word about FanTastic. I lost my bathroom vent cover in the windy Columbia River gorge a couple of weeks ago, and the one in the kitchen area was starting to crack. When I got home I contacted a local distributor to purchase replacement vent covers, and was informed that FanTastic would replace them for free. I called, them and sure enough, they shipped two brand new covers the very next day, no charge, even for the freight charge. I was very impressed with that FanTastic service (pardon the pun:)! The only downside was the replacements were single pane, and the old ones were double, and a bit heavier duty. I researched a little and discovered that the replacement parts available for purchase at distributor and retail outlets are also the new single pane vent covers. Not a problem, and again, what a breath of fresh air in this modern business world. It is so refreshing to see this good old fashioned customer service!
