Tecma Silence Plus

Our Tecma is, by nature, not the quietest operating piece of equipment in the coach; however, recently it has developed an additional "growl" after flushing. I've waited a few days to see if whatever was causing it would miraculously fix itself, but now it seems intervention is warranted. Any suggestions as the Thetford manual and website provide no guidance and tech support is closed on the weekends?

Un-named person and coach-- are you absolutely certain the " growl" is not BEFORE you push the flush button ? That would be a somewhat easier problem to answer

Lot's of growls after the Mex food but not related to current problem! Forgot to sign, but corrected it in follow-up post. This is hard to describe but additional sound after the initial flush and before the follow up refill growl.

Our Tecma, is the 2 Flush with water level Feature, This Past Summer our Grandson put some kind of handy wipe into the Toilet, made a horrible sound, it would not Clear up on its own.
Not hard to Pull the Toilet, Two Lags in the Floor and disconnect the hose etc. The Macerator is in the bottom of the toilet, you can clean out what may be caught there, If that is the Problem, The macerator is connected with Rubber Grommets to the Toilet, you can also adjust these tighter to help with the Noise. Not a hard job, but you may have a different Problem. Good Luck.
