Does anyone have experience, good or bad, with Bear Bed air mattresses? They're similar to "Select Comfort," without the high advertising overhead. Your thoughts appreciated.

We have used a Bear Bed since 2003 about 75 nights a year. No problems. Seems comfortable. It was their highest priced option.

We do not have an air bed in the S&B.

We purchased one 10 years ago or so. At that time they had a 90 day trial period. It was very difficult to us to maintain proper settings because of the type of travel we do. The different elevations really create havoc with the settings which turned out to be quite a nuisance at bed time.
In addition, they gave us a difficult time upon our return, deducting for some sort of marks or usage on the control(s). They really didn't want it back. I think they have since limited the trial period to 30 days (which isn't enough).
We definitely do not recommend this company's sales practices, however the mattress might be OK if your travels are limited.
