Carefree Awning spring replaceme on Omega 11

The spring on the drivers side front slide will not retract and there is no tension thus I feel the spring needs to be replaced I cannot find on carefree web sites how do do this can some one help me out with the steps to take Thanks in advance Lee Ramage 2004 Intrigue 11784. We are in Palm Creek Casa Grande AZ
