Cycling Generator

Yahoo Message Number: 86046
After a long tailgate weekend at TAMU (WHOOP!), my generator continued to operate well supporting both ACs, TV, etc, but toward the last day it began to cycle (speed up and slow down - sounded like revving an engine). I have started it several times since and still cycles both loaded and unloaded while still maintaining power to support appliances. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, do you have a possible cause/remedy? Any help is appreciated.

I had the same problem with our Onan8k. I replaced the fuel hoses, changed the filter and the problem went away. John 03 Allure 30951
