Model Changes

What we are seeing in with the model changes is the typical big corporation mentality compared to a smaller specific brand manufacturer.
As an auto guy, I can recall many major goofs made by GM, Ford, etc. Remember when GM took a Chevrolet Cavalier, put some extra insulation in the doors and trimmed it up a little....wowie! instant Cimmeron. Not a Cadillac! It was a flop! Ford tried the same thing with the Lincoln Versillas. A complete Ford Granada with a fake continental kit and a big ugly grille! Didn't sell either did it?
The record is clear on this: You can't make a product better by hanging a name on it. It has to be a quality product and it's up to the buyer to determine that prior to the sale.
Finally, the more products the corporation has on the shelf, the better chance they have of selling them, right?
