Sofa

We have a Jack knife sofa located in the slide in our 03 Magna Resort. (This is coach has only one living room slide.) We are changing the fabric and want to put in a hide a bed for a more comfortable sleeping area for guests. A friend told us the front legs on the hide a bed reaching the floor would be an issue since the sofa is in the slide. Does anyone have a hide a bed in their older model CC with one living room slide?

I don't think you can fit a hide a bed in Resort. At least on mine, the table on the storage wall opposite the couch sticks out too far. I may be wrong but my measurements were not good. I want to do the same thing so let me know if you find a hide a bed that will work.

Good luck.

Thanks George. I plan to contact tech1 at CC this week to see if there is a sofa that will work. Will keep you posted.

We replaced the original jack knife in our non-slide coach with a Flexsteel queen-size with air mattress. This unit uses the space so well that we could install a bookshelf on the wall at the foot of the bed. Very comfortable as both couch and bed. RUSS WARREN '95 INTRIGUE 10070

No problem - when ordering your new flexsteel couch, you want above floor. Other option is flat floor. Once installed might have to make an adjustment on the legs.
